Professor Fuat Sezgin Scholarship in the History of Islamic Sciences
Professor Fuat Sezgin’s scholarship program in the history of Islamic sciences was officially announced in by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Scholarship Administration YTB. Note that this scholarship is completely similar to the well-known Turkish scholarship, but it is under the scope of Islamic and philosophical sciences and their history. This is also done in agreement with Professor Fuad Sezgin’s Endowment for Studies on the History of Islamic Sciences.
General Directorate of Turkish Endowments Scholarship
The Turkish Endowment Scholarship is completely different from the previous Scholarships, as it is limited to providing a monthly financial grant of 300 for Turkish students and 600 Turkish Liras for foreign students. It is also possible to register only for those who have a registration in Turkish universities, that is, new students are not entitled to register there, and registration generally begins at the beginning of the tenth month of each year.
Istanbul State Scholarship
Istanbul State offers a financial grant every year to foreign students for a period of 9 months. The state of Istanbul takes care of registration and interviews, but the grant is from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. The scholarship includes undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the amount of the scholarship is 700 liras per month. Registration for the scholarship is usually in the ninth and tenth month of each year.
